Armand Navarro, 30, has been charged for his role in the death of a man who was found suffering from the effects of an overdose last year in an apartment in the 700 block of South Courthouse Road in Lorton more than a year ago.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on June 29, 2022, officers responded to the home to investigate reports of a medical emergency, and upon arrival, found the victim, whose name was not released by the police.

First responders provided first aid for the man, but he ultimately died from the effects of the fentanyl overdose.

The investigation into the incident led police to determine that Navarro was a suspect who supplied the drugs to the victim.

Navarro was charged with manslaughter and distribution of a Schedule I/II controlled substance. He is currently being held on separate charges at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
